Today, the Madrid Foodbank organised an event in order to thank the people, businesses and media that participated “actively” in the “Great Collection” in December 2017.
Francisco García, president of the Madrid foodbank, gave thanks for the “commitment and dedication” of around 40 people who were honoured by being presented with a diploma. Colleagues from the #Integra2 Madrid centre received a diploma testifying to this.
The organisation collected over 2.8 million kilos of non-perishable products destined for people without adequate means during the campaign carried out in the Community of Madrid on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of December. Integra2 took care of the transport of the products collected, which were delivered to the 566 charities that the Foodbank collaborates with, so that they were then made available to people in need.
Integra2 would like to give thanks for this recognition. We are both honoured and encouraged to continue working towards commitment and solidarity.
