Integra2 with the #ningunniñosinbigote campaign (#nochildwithoutamoustache)
Last month Integra2 collaborated with La Caixa and the Foodbank, for the second year running, on the transport of milk from different CaixaBank branches to the Madrid Foodbank.

In total, we picked up 
16,087 litres of milk from 249 points

Under the slogan “NINGÚN NIÑO SIN BIGOTE (NO CHILD WITHOUT A MOUSTACHE”, the milk collection campaign for the group of vulnerable children in risk of social exclusion is promoted by the ”la Caixa” Social Project in favour of the foodbanks, which more than 1.5 million people regularly resort to in order to cover basic dietary needs .  Approximately 220,000 of them are children.

One in every three children in Spain is at risk of poverty, and Spain has the 5th largest rate of child poverty, according to Eurostat.  This great milk collection wishes to contribute to them having access to a healthy and balanced diet.

Last year’s great milk collection reached 1.2 million litres.  The foodbank’s objective is to guarantee 3 litres of milk a month per person.  In order to cover this demand, the have to collect 7.5 million litres of milk this year.

All citizens may contribute to the cause, from the 28th of May to the 13th of July, via different electronic donation channels.  CaixaBank makes the initiative available through all of its channels, such as cash machines and CaixaBankNow, and its wide network of branches, in order to facilitate the collection of milk.
