During the event for clients, Integra2 explained its plans on sustainability and environment, and shared an analysis on the urban distribution of merchandise, alternative fuels, the ECO fleet alternatives and the technological novelties for fleet control and merchandise transportation under controlled temperature in large urban areas.
The event was opened by Pablo Rebollo, General Manager at Integra2, and included the Oficina Española de Cambio Climático (Spanish Office on Climate Change) and the Ministerio de Agricultura y Pesca, Alimentación y Medio Ambiente (Ministry of Agriculture and Fishery, Food and the Environment), as well as Juan Carlos Sánchez, Business Development Manager at Integra2.
Also, Raquel Martín, Market Development Manager at Repsol BUTANO, and Carlos Nieto, Product Manager at Mercedes-Benz Vans, showed the advantages of alternative fuels like LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) and CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and the alternatives for industrial delivery vehicles. Later on, Ferrán Pueyo, Quality and Processes Manager, and Ana Piñar, Environment Expert at Integra2, explained Integra2’s Sustainability and Environmental Plan.
Likewise, the Integra2’s Information Systems and Technology area brought up the new challenges on information regarding new information technologies applied to fleet control and route optimization.
Finally, it was presented the new ECO fleet regarding CO2 emissions, improving the delivery industrial vehicles with EURO 6 engines in the market since early 2016. During 2017 Integra2 anticipates it will add 80 ECO capillary delivery vehicles in Barcelona, Madrid and delegations throughout its network when renewing or adding to its fleet currently exceeding 1,300 vehicles.
