Integra2 Badajoz has moved to a new warehouse that began operating on the 1st of January 2016. It can boast some magnificent installations, staff and new vehicles that make improving the service in the area easy.
The installations take up 1,200 of the plot’s 6,000 square metres. It has been equipped with 22 loading bays, 738 square metres of storage space and four 80 square metre offices.
Integra2 Mérida has 346 square metres of refrigerated storage that provide the organisation with a pre-storage area of 925 metres cubed and 355 metres cubed of storage between +2 and +8ºC, as a result temperature controlled space across Integra2’s network of 60 warehouses is now in excess of 770,000 m3.
In line with the GDP network distribution service for the pharmaceutical sector, in addition to the areas dedicated to temporary storage of in-transit thermolabile products, the new installation will have a separate area that provides access to laboratory representatives, where they can withdraw or manage the shipments of product samples, promotional material, etc.
In addition to the technology required in order to guarantee the physical and temperature traceability of the shipment, the Badajoz facility has 17 vehicles that will cover a total of 10 daily delivery areas, reaching all of the towns and cities in the Badajoz province. For this reason a mixed model refrigerated fleet has been opted for, with trailers, rigid vehicles with different load capacities (6.5t, 12t and 18t) and also refrigerated 3.5 tonne vans that will substantially improve the pick-up and delivery network service in the area.
In the words of Ivan Ramón González, director of Integra2 Caceres and Badajoz, “Integra2 is capable of pick up and delivery across the whole of Extremadura within 24 hours”.
The new Integra2 Installations in Badajoz, its director’s investment in service quality, and its more than 52 highly professional members of staff, are the key to boosting growth in Extremadura.
